Project name: E-malchin (E-herder)

Entity information: Digital Credit LLC is a technology development company established in 2018. Its founders and co-founders are experienced IT and banking sector professionals with over decades of experience in their respective industries and graduates of well known international schools. The company employs 11 full-time staff and 15 contract personnel. Digital Credit LLC develops shared platforms that integrate traditional business with technological solutions. Particularly, the company developed www.zeelme.mn – a loan supermarket that allows the borrower to select the most favorable loan condition online between the banks or NBFIs; www.0001.mn - an auto trading site that offers online financial lease; www.dulaalga.mn – a green loan platform and SME support loan platform for the Government Implementing Agency for SMEs. Currently, the company operates 8 similar platforms and successfully implements related projects. These projects all ensure interrelations between stakeholders of the project and save time and financial resources of participants.

Partnership profile: Implement a partnership between the herders and feedlot, and supply beef cattle according to manufacturer’s demand.

Project objective: The project aims to implement a digital network platform of the supply chain in the meat value chain, in line with international standards. This platform will support t:

• Improve the herders and feedlot cooperations,
• Regularly supply end-users with high-quality meat, 
• Enable establishment of the system with improved stakeholder cooperation.

Planned activities: Develop and implement a meat supply platform. Provide training and information to stakeholders, implement the technological solution (mobile application) to deliver the final product to the market and organize marketing promotion activities, support the herders and feedlot cooperation based on cooperative system and loyalty point system, and supply the meat producers with beef cattle according to pre-orders.

Proposed solutions:  In the case of the meat production and meat value chain- the establishment of cooperation and trust between herders and feedlots and end-consumers product supply without extra steps in the chain have a significant impact. By implementing the e-malchin platform and with the assistance of the mobile application, we will improve the cooperation between the herders of Tarialan soum, Khuvsgul province and feedlot , ensure participation of value chain stakeholder, and supply end-consumers with high-quality meat products. In establishing trust and cooperation between the herders and feedlot will use the cooperative’s system and cattle weight gain incentive system for stocks supplied by herders to the feedlot.

Beneficiaries:  Direct beneficiaries: 894 households of Tarialan soum, end-users of meat products supplied by the feedlots, and all other stakeholders of the supply chain will benefit. Indirect beneficiaries: family members of herder households, children, and other businesses indirectly related to the E-malchin platform.
